Foreign Minister Oskanian received Japan's Ambassador Issei Nomura , who presented copies of his credentials. Ambassador Nomura, resident in Moscow, is the first credentialed representative of Japan to Yerevan.

During the meeting, the two discussed the current state of bilateral relations and possible ways of further developing and strengthening relations especially in the spheres of trade, information technologies and cultural exchange.
