Minister Oskanian received a Chinese delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Liu Gu Chan, in Yerevan on a working visit.

The two sides expressed their high appreciation of the development and deepening of relations between the two countries. Both said, however, that there is still a huge potential for the enhancement of economic relations.

Minister Oskanian noted that in the absence of serious political differences between the two, relations between the two in international organizations, too, are quite positive. The Minister stressed that Armenia supports the one China policy. The two spoke about the process of the Karabakh peace negotiations.

Armenia and China have a sufficient legal bases for furthering activities in the economic, technical, scientific, cultural and educational sectors, the two agreed.
