On June 30, 2003, Minister Oskanian received the Assistant United Nations High Com-missioner for Refugees, Mr. Kamel Morjane, who is currently on a visit to the region.

Both Mr. Morjane and Minister Oskanian expressed satisfaction at the level of relations which exist between the Republic and the international organization which provides assistance to refugees. The two discussed refugee problems in general, as well as the Nagorno Karabagh conflict, which has itself created hundreds of thousands of refugees in Armenia.
