On July 11, 2003 Minister Oskanian received the Secretary of the Georgian State Security Council, Mr. Tedo Japaridze.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways of deepening cooperation between the two states in the security sphere. They noted that political dialogue is an important aspect of this sphere.

The sides also touched upon various regional issues, including the Nagorno Karabagh peace process and the Oskanian-Gul meeting in Madrird in June.
