On September 15, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vartan Oskanian received Lo Gan, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Member of the Ruling Party Group of the State Council and Secretary of the Political-Legal Commission of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee.

During the meeting, the two discussed issues concerning growing political and economic cooperation between the two countries. Mr. Lo Gan headed a delegation of nearly 50 political figures. This was the highest level delegation to visit Armenia from the People's Republic of China.
