Minister Oskanian received the leadership of the Armenian Assembly of America on October 21. Hirair Hovnanian, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, as well as Peter Vosbikian, Chairman of the Board of Directors were accompanied by member of the Board, Anthony Barsamian, Ross Vartian, Executive Director and Arpi Vartanian, Country Director.

The meeting was a continuation of a meeting the group held with the Minister in September during Mr. Oskanian's participation in the United Nations General Assembly.

The Minister thanked the guests for their continuous support of Armenia's needs in the US, their unflinching dedication to Armenia's economic and security needs, and their willingness to work with Armenia's government in presenting information about Armenia to US lawmakers and the US public.

They discussed areas of future cooperation.

The Armenian Assembly representatives also met with Deputy Minister Rouben Shugarian.
