 An
e-Visa is the equivalent of a conventional visa, but no paper is
inserted in your passport. There is no paper application, either. The
applicant does not need to visit an Armenian mission to
submit an application, or to mail a passport with the visa application
to an Armenian mission and wait for its return. The whole process is
conducted on-line, electronically, between the applicant and the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
Now, you can also submit an application for an e-Visa directly
through this website by clicking on the "Apply
for e-Visa" icon. You can also check the status of your e-Visa
using this website.
When submitting an application for an e-Visa, you will need to
provide passport and credit card information. The application is
processed immediately and in most cases, a visa is issued within 2
business days. Both Applicants and border control agents are informed
simultaneously. During this first phase of the program, e-Visas will be
available for air travelers arriving at Zvartnots International Airport
