Forthcoming Visit to Armenia of OSCE Chairman-In-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Solomon Passi

Chairman-In-Office of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Solomon Passi will arrive in Armenia on an official mission on 16 March 2004.

In the framework of the visit, meetings are planned with President of Armenia, President of Nagorno-Karabagh Republic, Speaker of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as with the staff of OSCE Office in Yerevan. Minister Passi will also visit Tzitzernakaberd Hill and lay a wreath at the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

A joint press conference of Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and OSCE Chairman-In-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria Solomon Passi will take place on 17 March, at 17:30, in the Media Hall of the Foreign Ministry in Yerevan.

All journalists wishing to attend the press conference may register with Media and Information Department of the Ministry by 13:00 of 17 March.
