Q: Iravunk Newspaper claims that the ministry's e-Visa program doesn't work, that users can't access the site. What's the problem?

A: There is no problem. We have processed more than 2,500 applications since the programs inception a little over a year ago. We have received less than half a dozen complaints about being able to access the site. The problem, in all cases, has been from the user's end. Some providers place firewalls between their users and certain parts of the internet, and as a result, a user can't access certain sites. Those same users, when they tried from home or from a different address (therefore a different provider) were able to access our e-visa site without any problems. The handful of individuals who had this problem, wrote to the ministry, received an explanation, found another way to apply and received their e-Visa.
