Q: How would you comment on a statement by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Abdullah Gyul, about his country's readiness to contribute to the Nagorno Karabagh conflict settlement process? How would Ankara's involvement affect the process and bilateral relations between Armenia and Turkey?

A: Armenia has always welcomed the intentions of any country to make a positive and impartial contribution to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabagh conflict. In Turkey¹s case, as long as it demonstrates a bias towards Azerbaijan, and places conditions on the normalization of Armenia-Turkish relations, then, it cannot have a meaningful contribution to the peace process.
