Armenia's Ambassador to Egypt Rouben Karapetyan handed a copy of his credentials to Egypt's Foreign Minister Ahmad Abu al-Gheit on 12 November.

During a discussion that followed the protocol ceremony, Ambassador briefly introduced his mandate that is primarily aimed at fostering multi-faceted cooperation between Armenia and Egypt. Foreign Minister informed on his awareness on the role played by Armenians in the establishment of Egyptian state.

Minister Ahmad Abu al-Gheit wished Armenia's Ambassador success in his new mission and conveyed his country's readiness to develop cooperate with Armenia in all areas.
