Minister Oskanian received Belgium's Ambassador to the OSCE Bertrand

During the meeting, Minister expressed Armenia's appreciation to Belgium
for paying special attention to the South Caucasus, especially in
light of Belgium's upcoming OSCE Chairmanship (in 2006).
The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including Armenia-OSCE relations, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and developments in the negotiations process. The Minister stressed the importance of current efforts to maintain the ceasefire, especially in light of the OSCE's role in the resolution of the NK conflict. The Belgian Ambassador was accompanied by Ambassador Vladimir Pryakhin who heads the Yerevan OSCE Office and Ambassador Andrej Kasprcyk, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman in Office on Nagorno Karabakh. |
