Minister Oskanian received Boyana Urumova.

Minister Oskanian received Boyana Urumova, who has just been appointed to Yerevan as the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. Mrs. Urumova has an important role as the Special Representative, and Minister Oskanian welcomed her to Armenia, stressing that the government values the role of the Council of Europe and is prepared to meet its Council of Europe membership commmitments by the end of the year. They also discussed the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as Armenia-Turkey relations. Mrs. Urumova was accompanied by the head of the South Caucasus Section of the Council's General Directorate for Political Affairs.
