Minister Oskanian has just returned from a four day trip to Scandinavia. May 28, 2005 |

On May 24 and 25, he participated in the NATO EAPC Conference on Security,
held in Are, Sweden. There, he met with NATO Secretary General Jaap
de Hoop Scheffer, as well as former US Ambassador to NATO, now US
Undersecretary of State, Nick Burns.
On the evening of May 25, the Minister arrived in Helsinki on a two-day official visit. On May 26 and 27, he met with Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomiyoya, the Defense Minister as well as other officials. |
