Minister Oskanian received Mohammed El Baradei, Director General of the
International Atomic Energy Association July 27, 2005 |
| Minister
Oskanian and Director Baradei explored issues relating to Armenia's
energy sector and prospects for its development.
The two affirmed the importance of Armenia's cooperation with the IAEA. They discussed the safety of Armenia's nuclear power plant, as well as efforts to secure other energy sources. Director Baradei and members of his delegation also discussed issues related to nuclear medicine and nuclear technology, and the importance of working for nuclear safety throughout the world. |
