Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian today received Swedish Secretary of State Lars Danielsson. The two discussed Armenia's involvement in European integration processes, particularly in the context of the European Neighborhood Policy. The Minister stressed Armenia's commitment to turning the European Neighborhood Policy into an opportunity to further deepen existing cooperation with the EU, and explained that Armenia believes that the processes themselves are invaluble and provide the benefit of support and counsel in both democratic and economic development.

Armenia's Foreign Minister briefed the Swedish diplomat about the Nagorno Karabakh resolution process, as well as other regional issues.
