Armenian Consul General Yeghiazarian of Sao Paolo, Brazil Meets with
Head of Latin American Parliament

On November 24 Ney Lopez de Souza, Head of the Latin American Parliament
received Ashot Eghyazarian, Armenian Consul General in San Paulo.
During the conversation the head of Latin American Parliament represented
the structure, main goals and specific problems of the institution,
which was founded in 1964 and now unites 22 regional countries. He
also referred to the work within the framework of the agreement between
Latin American Parliament and CIS Parliamentary Assembly signed in
April 2002.
Ashot Eghyazarian welcomed Ney Lopez de Souza and said that the Armenian Parliament is interested in establishing relations with regional legislative bodies, as well as with the Latin American Parliament. He also spoke of the activity of Armenia's legislative body, its relations with European structures. |
