Minister Oskanian Meets with Martin Dinham, The British Department for International Development's Director for Europe, Middle East and Americas.

Minister Oskanian received Martin Dinham, the British Department for International Development's (DFID) Director for Europe, Middle East and Americas on November 29.

During the meeting Martin Dinham introduced the activities and projects of the Department, especially in the region of Tavoush and Gegharkunik, as well as new projects in Satskhe-Javakheti, Georgia.

Minister Oskanian stressed Armenia's appreciation of the involvement of the British Department for International Development in Armenia and its intention to enhance its activities here.

The two sides discussed Armenia's Action Plan in the context of the European Neighborhood Policy and noted the necessity of the EU maintaining an individualized approach towards each country.

Mr. Dinham asked about progress in the Nagorno Karabakh peace process. Minister Oskanian responded with information about the current stage of negotiations.
