Abdeljalil Saubry, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Armenia, Presents Copies of Credentials

On April 12, Minister Oskanian received Abdeljalil Saubry, newly-appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Armenia (with residence in Kiev), who presented copies of his credentials.

The Minister Oskanian congratulated the guest on the occasion of his appointment and wished him good luck in his mission.

During the discussion that followed the ceremony, the two assessed highly the warm and decades-long relations between Armenians and the Arab world. In this context, they both expressed willingness to take concrete steps to develop Armenian-Moroccan relations and stressed the need for developing the necessary legal documents, as well as organizing official visits. On behalf of the Moroccan Foreign Minister, Ambassador Saubry invited Minister Oskanian to Rabat.

Minister Oskanian and Ambassador Saubry also discussed issues having to do with cooperation in the framework of international organizations and exchanged views on the settlement of conflicts.

Abdeljalil Saubry was born in Marrakech in 1954. After graduating from the University of Montpellier in France, he started his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Morocco. From 1994-2001, he worked at the Moroccan Embassy in Belgium. In September 2005, he was appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Ukraine. He is married and has three children.
