During the meeting, the two discussed the dynamically developing relations between the two countries, as well as a number of international and regional issues of mutual interest and great urgency.

They focused on developments in the South Caucasus, and specifically the prospects for searching for ways of settling the conflicts in the region. They also touched the possibility of reactivating the transport network stressing in this context the importance of a peaceful and negotiated decision.

Minister Oskanian and Deputy Minister Karasin also discussed issues having to do with the situation in Iran, as well as Armenia-Turkey relations.
