During the meeting, the parliamentarians and the Minister discussed the ongoing cooperation between the European Union and the South Caucasus countries. They noted that there is increased EU interest toward the region. The Minister expressed appreciation at the role of the European Parliament in the engagement of the three countries in the European Neighbourhood Policy.

At their request, Foreign Minister Oskanian presented the parliamentarians with the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process, and Armenia's approaches to energy security and regional cooperation issues.
