On May 18 and 19, a delegation of the NATO International Staff was in Yerevan on a working visit. The aim of the visit was to provide an interim assessment of the implementation process of the NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) with Armenia.

During the meeting, the representatives of the International Staff and the Armenian Committee on IPAP discussed the plans for the implementation of the IPAP.

In this regard, the members of the Committee presented the NATO team the priorities of the Ministries they represented, the events planned, their implementation process, and cooperation among the appropriate ministries. Then, they answered the team's questions.

The final result of the visit will be discussed at the Armenia - North-Atlantic Council meeting, which will be held in Brussels on June 14. Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian and Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan will represent Armenia at that meeting.
