Oskanian Meets Nienke A. Oomes, IMF New Resident Representative in
Armenia July 27, 2006 |

On July 26, Minister Oskanian received Nienke A. Oomes, Resident Representative
of the International Monetary Fund in Armenia. Dr. Oomes was accompanied
by James McHugh, who has just completed his term as Resident Representative.
The Minister congratulated Dr. Oomes on the occasion of her appointment and wished her good luck in her mission. The three discussed Armenia-IMF cooperation. Mr. McHugh assessed highly IMF interaction with the Government of Armenia, and noted that numerous joint projects are successfully being implemented. |
