| Minister Oskanian Meets with Matthew Bryza, US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group July 29, 2006 |

On July 29, Minister Oskanian met with Matthew Bryza, US Co-Chair
of the OSCE Minsk Group for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution,
in Armenia on a regional visit. This was Mr. Bryza's first visit to
Armenia in his capacity as co-chair.
The two assessed the present status of the negotiations, and discussed some details regarding the principles that are on the table. They also exchanged views on the prospects for resolution. After the meeting, Ambassador Bryza headed for Nagorno Karabakh to hold meetings with the authorities of Nagorno Karabakh. |
