After welcoming guests, Minister Oskanian underscored with appreciation the assistance provided to the Armenian people during the years since the earthquake, by Jon Huntsman, his family and his corporation.

While Mr. Huntsman spoke of his impressions about the positive changes he saw in Armenia, he also spoke about their future plans, specifically regarding the opening of a cancer hospital and college scholarships for United States education.

Minister Oskanian accompanied Mr. Huntsman to Gyumri in order to visit the school and the residences which the Huntsman Foundation had made possible.
