| Minister Oskanian Meets with Elmar Mammadyarov,
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister October 24, 2006 |

On October 24, a meeting between Minister Oskanian and Azerbaijani
Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov took place under the auspices of
the OSCE Mink Group Co-Chairs.
The two discussed new ideas proposed by the Co-Chairs during the Foreign Ministers' meeting in Moscow on October 6, 2006. As a result, the Ministers reached an agreement to continue their consultations in order to further clarify their positions. The next meeting will be held on November 14 in Brussels, in the framework of EU-Armenia Cooperation Council. |
