On November 21, Minister Oskanian received Vladimir Rushailo, Executive Secretary of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The two discussed the organizational issues related to forthcoming CIS high-level meetings. They also touched upon issues that are on the agenda of the CIS summit, and of the Councils of Heads of Governments and Foreign Ministers, in the light of the proposals made by the member states.

The Executive Secretary detailed the reforms and challenges that the organization faces, as well as the proposals made by the high-level group that has been created to this end. The interlocutors agreed that these proposals are bound to enhance the efficiency of the CIS.
