On October 9, 2007, Armenia’s Foreign Minister participated in European Parliament External Relations Committee and addressed the members on Armenia-European Union relations and also spoke about the Armenia’s foreign policy priorities.
After the Minister’s address, an extensive question-answer session followed, during which deputies asked about the development of Armenia- European Union collaboration, Armenia-Turkey relations, regional issues and the latest developments in the Nagorno Karabakh settlement process.
Parliamentarians Marie-Anne Isler Beguin (France) who heads Armenia-EU Cooperation Committee, Lydia Polfer of Luxembourg, Rapporteur for the South Caucasus, as well as deputies Charles Tannock (Great Britain) and Hans Sloboda (Austria) took part in the Question-Answer discussion period.
