On October 17, 2007, Armenia’s Foreign Minister addressed the 34th Session of UNESCO’s General Conference in Paris.
 
In the margins of the Conference, the Minister met with Mr. Koïchiro Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO.

The two discussed the upcoming development of the perspectives of Armenia-UNESCO relations, as well as the possibility of  UNESCO’s monitoring group’s visit to the region.
