On December 17, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received Michael Borg-Hansen, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Armenia (residence in Kiev) on the occasion of presenting of copies of his credentials.
During the meeting Minister Nalbandian congratulated Ambassador Borg-Hansen on the appointment and mentioned that the Foreign Ministry will provide entire support to the Ambassador during his diplomatic mission.

Recalling the meeting with Foreign Minister of Denmark Per Stig Møller in Corfu on June, 2009 and agreements on the expansion of bilateral cooperation reached during that meeting, Edward Nalbandian expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will have his important contribution in the implementation of those agreements and development of bilateral relationship. Edward Nalbandian reiterated the invitation to his Danish counterpart to visit Yerevan.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Borg -Hansen stressed the necessity to expand legal field, which will give an opportunity to promote bilateral cooperation in different fields.

The two also touched upon Armenia-European Union cooperation, as well as some regional issues.
